It's hard to fathom a more perfect supergroup for this era of indie rock (whatever indie means anymore). Bridgers, Dacus, and Baker all seem to enhance each other's writing without losing what makes them great individually.

I think this may well be CMA's best album, certainly the best of her early material. Every song is just so powerful and it's stripped down to the bone -- just her voice and a guitar most of the time. If you're a CMA fan, this is essential.
